Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work mainly on site in France, and working with an offshore development team in another country if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Migrate software is up to date with latest technologies
Skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
- Over 3+ years’ experience in software development
- At least 3+ years experiences with software development lifecycle and the deliverable created during the Agile development lifecycle; especially apply Scrum/SAFe method.
- Excellent communication skills in French
- English is a plus
- Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management
- In-depth knowledge of selected programming languages Python, C and the Java/J2EE platform or MS .Net
- Practical knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Experienced in Excel VBA
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
- Dedication to customer satisfaction
- Excellent time management skills
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work independently
Working Location
- First mission to work at customer side in Strasbourg for at least 3 months, to be extended
- Then, mainly at FPT Paris office (La Defense Delivery Center), possible sometimes to work remotely from home
- Willing to travel to other cities or countries for short business trip
